This scene was one of Ansel Adams best. When I was the Kodak Photographer in the Park, I went there to see what I could do. There I was, my tripod and I surrounded by the tripods of 50 of my closest friends. But the hassle was worth it to get this sunset image.
Jerry Griffin retired after a career with Eastman Kodak and is living in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In his photographic career he has been a judge, author, consultant, teacher and speaker across the U.S. He has won over 250 medals and ribbons in international salons. His works have been hung in the Kodak CEO's office. After retiring he served as the Kodak Ambassador in the National Parks and on cruise ships.
