Artist's Description
The Donnelley Wildlife area of southern South Carolina has a lot of alligators in one very large lagoon. Water level is controlled by weirs and regulated by the SCDNR. Every now and again when I visit, the water level in this very large lagoon is down and you see gators...like this image. Ten in this image but there was another group of 8 gators as well. They all look pretty well fed.
