Artist's Description
On an Alaskan cruise we visited the port of Provideniya in Siberia, Russia. We took a bus ride an hour north to a small Chukchi village where we walked around. I saw this man and his family. The people seemed distrustful of us but i would have loved to talk t him.

Jerry Griffin retired after a career with Eastman Kodak and is living in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In his photographic career he has been a judge, author, consultant, teacher and speaker across the U.S. He has won over 250 medals and ribbons in international salons. His works have been hung in the Kodak CEO's office. After retiring he served as the Kodak Ambassador in the National Parks and on cruise ships.
