Artist's Description
A huge honey bee hive on a tree on Hilton Head, South Carolina. This nest is about 50 feet up on a branch. Very unusual to see nests like this. I don't know how long this has been there. The tree is just off a cart path next to a golf course green.

Jerry Griffin retired after a career with Eastman Kodak and is living in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In his photographic career he has been a judge, author, consultant, teacher and speaker across the U.S. He has won over 250 medals and ribbons in international salons. His works have been hung in the Kodak CEO's office. After retiring he served as the Kodak Ambassador in the National Parks and on cruise ships.
