Artist's Description
This image was taken during a river walk in Savannah, Georgia. A Christmas wreath done in a Southern style with spanish moss and flowers. Did you know that during the Civil War that Union soldiers used Spanish moss as pillow material. Unfortunately there were bugs in it so that didn't work well.
About Jerry Griffin
Jerry Griffin retired after a career with Eastman Kodak and is living in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In his photographic career he has been a judge, author, consultant, teacher and speaker across the U.S. He has won over 250 medals and ribbons in international salons. His works have been hung in the Kodak CEO's office. After retiring he served as the Kodak Ambassador in the National Parks and on cruise ships.
