Description
Here on Hilton Head, South Carolina as we checked the duck box a mother wood duck leaves in a hurry. In order to fit through the hole she squeezes her feathers tight to her body and then she can fit through. She would fly into the nearby woods and return when we had left. Eventually 13 of the 15 eggs in that box hatched and the baby wood ducks left the nest.
