Description
Here on Hilton Head, South Carolina, this osprey was just sitting on a fairway on a golf course. When I finally got too near it flew off but only maybe 100 yards before it again landed on the ground. Clearly this poor osprey was injured. Our golf course superintendent called a bird rehab facility and arranged for them to collect the bird and take it to be rehabbed.
