A dolphin in Calibogue Sound off Hilton Head, South Carolina has leapted out of the water to catch a fish being thrown to it. This image was taken years ago. You are no longer allowed to feed the dolphin in this manner. It is flat out illegal. Do not do this. I was very lucky to have gotten this shot before the action became illegal.
Jerry Griffin retired after a career with Eastman Kodak and is living in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In his photographic career he has been a judge, author, consultant, teacher and speaker across the U.S. He has won over 250 medals and ribbons in international salons. His works have been hung in the Kodak CEO's office. After retiring he served as the Kodak Ambassador in the National Parks and on cruise ships.
